College Readiness Spotlight: Seton Hall University Visit
Our 11th and 12th-grade students had the incredible opportunity to connect with Aniyah Parks, Assistant Director of EOF Recruitment at Seton Hall University!
Aniyah shared valuable insights about the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program, which helps first-generation, low-income students access higher education through financial support, academic advising, and personal mentorship. Students learned about the many benefits of EOF, including reduced tuition costs, specialized academic support, and the chance to be part of a tight-knit, supportive community.
In addition, Aniyah walked students through the EOF selection process and explained how they could apply for this fantastic opportunity at Seton Hall. She also highlighted the university’s outstanding educational programs and commitment to fostering academic excellence and student success.
We're grateful to Aniyah for her visit and for helping our students better understand the steps toward achieving their college dreams!
100% of students who completed the PEP Program have graduated from Summit High School and gone on to post-secondary programs.
“When I think about all the challenges school brings, it's such a great thing I was chosen to be in such a fantastic program.“
