During their spring visit to the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, PEP’s 7th grade students explored the world around them through the lens of a photographer. Students took black and white photographs based on contrast, scale, shape, and texture, which encouraged them to have fun while exploring this medium of art. At the end of the session, the students displayed their photographs to each other and talked through what made each of them interesting.
